Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kanata Ottawa West

We had great food in the restaurant. Our bellies were full and satisfied. We used the very comfortable shuttle car to the Canadian Tire stadium to watch. Darius Rucker both the two and from ride was extremely comfortable and extremely affordable. The breakfast was okay. Not exactly hot but there was something good for everybody. Coffee was delicious and the bed was very comfortable. The pillow was perfect. We will definitely be back again

The staff were all warm and welcoming. They made sure we had fresh-baked cookies every afternoon/evening we were there. Although it is a small gesture, it has an impact. The staff accommodated our needs very well, especially the front desk and breakfast servers. The complementary breakfast was a very decent, hot buffet, with variety throughout our stay. The room was comfortable for a family of four and a pup, and it was very clean. The beds were lovely, and the blackout curtains were exceptional. Quiet. Restful. We had 3 hockey teams come into the hotel the last night we were staying; the staff assigned them rooms on the upper floors, allowing for a quiet night for us. The pool and hottub, bar, and lounge were a great addition. The location is spectacular. Right off the main highway, with many excellent restaurants and amenities very close by.

Staff, Staff, Staff! Location, cleanliness, breakfast bar, gym. our stay included a Saturday morning and a Sunday morning and both of those mornings the breakfast bar was staffed by two different employees, and both of them kept the area, immaculately, clean and well-stocked, until after the time for it to close, and even then they asked if everyone was finished before they started to close it down. Bravo to the breakfast bar staff. If you’re travelling with a team and you can afford it in your budget this is a great option.

Excellent, modern, clean hotel with comfortable beds & a great breakfast (Eggs, sausages, waffles, toast, hash, oatmeal, fruit and all the fixings etc). In-room kitchenette was well equipped with pots, pans, toaster etc. The pool and hot tub/spa was especially enjoyed by my kids as the pool room is always warm and nice. The staff was superb!! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. They went above and beyond. Kudos to the cleaning staff! The freshly baked cookies everyday from 3pm, were just to-die-for. Free parking, designated smoking areas outside. Nice outdoor patio area with seating & bbq grill available for use. Multiple large washrooms near the pool area, and ice machines are also available. Gym is modern and well equipped. Can walk across the street to Tanger outlet where there are lots of restaurants and stores. Will definitely return with My family.

Friendly and helpful staff, new building and ample parking. Good breakfast (even though there was black pepper in the scrambled eggs which made them a no-go for my daughter)
