Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kanata Ottawa West

Excellent, modern, clean hotel with comfortable beds & a great breakfast (Eggs, sausages, waffles, toast, hash, oatmeal, fruit and all the fixings etc). In-room kitchenette was well equipped with pots, pans, toaster etc. The pool and hot tub/spa was especially enjoyed by my kids as the pool room is always warm and nice. The staff was superb!! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. They went above and beyond. Kudos to the cleaning staff! The freshly baked cookies everyday from 3pm, were just to-die-for. Free parking, designated smoking areas outside. Nice outdoor patio area with seating & bbq grill available for use. Multiple large washrooms near the pool area, and ice machines are also available. Gym is modern and well equipped. Can walk across the street to Tanger outlet where there are lots of restaurants and stores. Will definitely return with My family.

Everything from booking, to check-in, to the stay was wonderful. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Everyone was very helpful during our long stay - we were there for the World Junior's. The hotel is right across the highway from the Canadian Tire Centre so it's great for any hockey games or concerts happening there! Bigger than average mini-fridge in the room was lovely since we brought some of our own food/drinks!

The Hotel was modern and very clean. The staff was wonderfully pleasant and helpful! The TV was huge, and accepted our fire stick without trouble. The pool was very clean and the chlorine level was okay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows was nice and firm. We asked for extra blankets and that wasn’t a problem! There were free cookies and breakfast was wonderful. It was a really nice stay.

We stayed at Microtel to attend a Concert at the Canadian Tire Center so the location was perfect for that. The staff at check in which was late at night was super friendly and accommodating.the Hotel was at Full capacity as per the concert that evening so without request, we stayed in a wheelchair accessible room. This is an amazing option for those traveling and may need that option. The room was very spacious with wide doors and hallway. The bathroom was amazingly spacious . The hotel was beautiful and our room still had the brand new smell to it. It was immaculately clean. Directly across the street from the outlet shopping center as well. There is a complimentary breakfast for guests which was also lovely. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
